The Journal of Acoustic Ecology
Soundscape: The Journal of Acoustic Ecology
Soundscape is place for listening, dialogue, and debate. This international peer-reviewed journal is available to all WFAE members and scholars of the global acoustic ecology community.  

Soundscape has shifted from annual publication to a digital journal and will relaunch in 2023. The journal has a focus on special editions revolving around events and themes and welcomes proposals from guest editors.  ​Please visit this page to submit a proposal for special editions 2023-2024, we are also calling for new members of the Soundscape Editorial Board. 

Special editions of Soundscape include 6-8 papers and comprise of the following: 
Full papers: 5000-7000 words 
Short papers: 2000-3000 words 
Reviews (books, albums, events): 1000-2000 words 
Paper templates are provided to accepted authors, embedded media (audio, images and video) is encouraged, preferred referencing style is APA. ​
