Join us on a collaborative journey to create a paper that represents the collective voice of our emerging global community.
After sitting on the results of our global survey, we were at a standstill about what to do with them.
We want to give everyone the opportunity to contribute reflections and insights on the five areas that dominated the survey: community, technology, environment, interdisciplinarity, and diversity.
Our goal is to craft a multi-vocal, nomadic piece of writing that embodies the perspectives within our field, for subsequent publication.
How We'll Achieve This Together:
Google Drive Setup: We’ve set up a dedicated folder on the WFAE Google Drive. Inside this folder, you will find five documents, each corresponding to one of our key areas.
Contribution Guidelines: We are not looking for formal essays but rather personal reflections, thoughts, and insights. We encourage contributions from all corners of our community, regardless of how unconventional or unique they might be. We will be accepting submissions both as text and audio. Each voice is valuable and will contribute to the richness of our final piece. You don’t have to communicate in English, either, but in any way you feel that expresses your thoughts and feelings about the subject.
Collaborative Writing: Feel free to contribute to any or all of the documents as you see fit. Your reflections can be as brief or as detailed as you like. Our aim is to gather a diverse array of perspectives that will ultimately be woven together by an assigned editor.
Editing and Compilation: Once we’ve gathered contributions, board members or designated editors will review and compile the reflections. This process will respect the nomadic and multi-vocal nature of our project.
Thank you for your willingness to be a part of this project. If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to reach out.
